On Saturday, April 14 from 9 am-11 am we will be having a garden clean up day. Last year our garden had moved to a forward section closer to where the farmer plants his corn/soybeans. This had an effect on our yield for the season. As a result, we are seeking to move the garden to the further back section where it was two summers ago. The ground was much more fertile for a varied crop of fruits and vegetables. So put on your work clothes and bring your gloves.
We will be working on:
* fencing stakes need to be pulled up
* new fencing stakes need to be driven in
* strawberry plants need to be relocated to the new position
* selecting a space for the new garden shed purchased through the SeedMoney fundraiser
When checking your calendar for Saturday, April 14, 9-11 am, please remember
MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK! Please let me know if you are able to come.
